The Landlord Life

These last couple months have been quite busy for us. We co-own two rental properties and this summer 3 tenants decided to leave! It made for a lot of work as each place needed to be fixed up and readied to rent. God has been faithful and really blessed us with the rentals. For 2 of the 3 properties we had new renters lined up and ready to move in as soon as the old tenants moved out! Of course, the downside to this was that we had to turn over the empty units as quickly as possible so that the new people could move in. This meant lots of long nights! God has blessed us with incredible friends and family who sacrifice their time to help us out. One night we even had our whole Bible study group come over and help out on a unit! We have been able to get all 3 places rented without losing much rent! We still have a few miscellaneous tasks to finish up at a couple of the places, but it is almost done. It sure is nice to be done with the stress!
