We have been preparing to head into a career of planting churches in unreached people groups. Now we are coming down the home stretch!
Last November we flew out to Missouri to interview with New Tribes Mission. We are excited to say that we received our official acceptance into the training program in December! We will be starting classes August 18th at the Missionary Training Center near Camdenton, MO. We still have much to do before we get there, however.
One of our biggest goals over the next two months is building a support team. We cannot do this alone. Fortunately, God does not intend us to do it alone - that’s why he created the church, his body!
We are both eagerly awaiting the exciting new adventures God has for us as we begin the work he has called us to do. We look forward to the change of focus and the change of pace! In the meantime we’re trying to live in the present and continue on even while we can hardly wait to get going.
